Transit of Venus 2012

The transit of Venus 2012 is now over. Venus passed in front of the Sun and was visible during the day for most of the Earth. NASA's SDO has released this 39 second video of the transit. The next time you will be able to see a transit of Venus from Earth will be in December of 2117. Below you can see a video made from our Santa Barbara observatory:
