We are looking for a reliable and detailed Part-Time Accounting Coordinator to maintain accurate financial records and support the day-to-day accounting needs of our small, complex non-profit organization. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in well-organized books, is willing to help out to support the team, and is comfortable managing recurring accounting cycles with minimal oversight.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including posting transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Process vendor invoices.
- Purchasing and manage purchase orders.
- Prepare routine financial reports and summaries to support management needs and annual audit.
- Maintain organized digital and paper files for receipts, statements, and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage employee credit card receipt collection and processing.
What We’re Looking For:
- Willingness to assist with general office and team needs as they arise.
- Direct experience with QuickBooks Desktop is required; ability to troubleshoot or optimize workflows is a plus.
- Strong understand of basic accounting principles and common bookkeeping practices.
- Clear, professional communication skills.
- Prior experience in a small business office setting preferred but not required.
- High attention to detail, dependable work habits, and strong organization and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in excel required; experience with Google Workspace in a work setting a huge plus.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn and grow!

Expected Hours: 25 – 30 per week

The salary range for this position is estimated to be $25 - $40/hour. Actual salary will be determined by candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. This position offers great benefits including health insurance, generous paid time off and retirement plan contributions.
