How would you like your observations?

Feb 9, 2011

Over the past few months I've reorganised the /observations section of our site and added the ability to display collections of images (e.g. by user or by telescope) as slideshows. Today I've added some options to allow people to access the observations in different ways. At the bottom of a collection of observations you'll now find some links to the alternate output formats. You can view observations in KML format using Sky in Google Earth, subscribe in RSS format using a feed reader, or as JSON/JSONp for use by Javascript applications in other web sites.

I'm playing with the idea of RDF output too so have included an experimental version of that (add ".rdf" to the /observation URLs). I'd appreciate it if LinkedData/astronomy types could have a look at the RDF output and let me know where it should be improved.
