The workshop will be a mix of presentations and hands-on sessions to introduce the software tools and services. We strongly encourage everyone to actively participate in the hands-on sessions, for which you will need the following:
- Laptop - we can support users of Linux or Mac OS
- Python 3.10 or later installed
Although we will cover a range of advanced tools and functionality, no prior experience will be required beyond a basic knowledge of Python. That said, some of our key tools are built using Django, and familiarity with this package will be beneficial. If you would like to (optionally) learn more about Django, this tutorial is a great starting point.
