IC342 (Caldwell 5) is an intermediate galaxy. It is located approximately 10 million light-years away in the constellation Camelopardalis. Due to its location fairly close to the Milky Way through the dusty areas around the galactic plane, it is nicknamed “The Hidden Galaxy” as it can be difficult to see.
