The Bubble Nebula (NGC 7635, Caldwell 11) is an HII region emission nebula and was discovered in 1787 by William Herschel. It is located around 7,100 light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia. Stellar wind from a central hot, massive star creates the “bubble”.
