Caldwell 34 (NGC 6960) is the western region of the Veil Nebula and is the colourful remnant of a supernova. It's 2,000 light years away from earth and is in the Cygnus constellation, Caldwell 34 has an apparent magnitude of 8.0 and was discovered in 1784.
