Accomodation in Santa Barbara - book early!
Santa Barbara offers a range of accommodation, and there are a number of hotels and motels close to the meeting. However, all visitors should bear in mind that lodging in Santa Barbara can be expensive as it is a resort town. It also tends to book up early for January/February dates due to the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, which will take place shortly after the meeting. Therefore we strongly advise all attendees to reserve their accommodation by December 15.

The Canary offer valet parking for guests at $25/night or $13 (day use), with discounts available for hybrid vehicles. There are also city parking lots within 3 blocks of the hotel on Chapala Street. However, Santa Barbara has good public transport links so a car is not necessary.
